Working as an interpreter as a multilingual officer at Centrelink Australia for seven years, Marshall realised the importance of training qualified interpreters and translators to serve the needs of the global small village, especially the multicultural communities in Australia. He then established the Sydney Institute of Interpreting and Translating (SIIT). Over the last ten years, SIIT has seen more than 10 thousand graduates with relevant accreditation, currently working in a variety of careers across the globe. In 2016, he initiated the journey for the establishment of a higher education provider: The Institute of International Studies (TlIS), which was approved by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) as a registered higher education provider in 2017. With over a decade of experience in international education industry in Australia, Marshall recently joined TIIS as the Acting CEO.
